SUMMER MIXED MEDIA 2 Mixed Media Matisse Saturday, July 12 noon - 1pm EST $25 This is a new series for me. This is the first of 4 mixed media sessions that I am offering over the summer. You can join one of all of them. Each is a stand-alone workshop. The theme of this, my second Summer Mixed Media session, will be Mixed Media Matisse. I will use both a gel plate AND collage to show you how to make two series of playful mixed media works inspired by the gorgeous organic shapes of artist Henri Matisse. You will get a materials when you sign up for the class. The workshop format is inspired by my popular mixed media sessions that I offer throughout the year. Each session this summer, however, will be a bit shorter and will be recorded. I will focus on a format or project and I will share the work of interesting artists working in the format of choice for each class. I will talk about different ways that the work of these artists can inspire you and your own work, but I will also walk you through -- step-by-step -- how *I* am choosing to do the project. If you miss the live online workshop but still want to purchase have the recording, no worries! After the class has taken place, I will email you both a link to the recording AND to all of the images that I share in class.
